Story
This is story about Bruce Lee’s martial art’s teacher 葉問 legend life. He occurs the peace and war time of china and the time when Japanese occupied China.
Beside, he is a good father and husband who take the responsibility of home well. Moreover, he treat his compatriot fairly and kindly that many people respect him. Most of all, he is a master of martial art but he seldom use violence to resolve the problem unless he is forced to do so.
Through this movie, you can see a person who fights for his country, his family and his compatriot or the things that he thinks is right.

Reflection
After seeing this movie, I really think 葉問is a rare nice man that is hard to find in today’s society. He combines all the virtues of Chinese moral standard such as to love his family, be nice to your friend and be humble. Thought I don’t know exactly the true personality of this person, I really impress by those personalities that this leading male has.
One plot is about his wife ask his son to tell the leading male do not corrupt anything in the house ,and the 葉問 agree with this rule though he fights seriously with others. However, when these couple are in hard times, 葉問chose to do the job even though he never did before in order to make up some money to help his wife. I think his wife really chose a nice husband like this.
Moreover, even if 葉問 are good at martial art, he doesn’t like to show off. Instead, he learns how to protect himself and become more humble after learning the martial art. This is the point that many people need to learn that violence never helps a person to resolve the things.
